Who We Are
We are a referral agency. That means you tell us your wants and needs, and we help you find the perfect caregiver for placement in an assisted living home or in the comfort of your own home. Utilizing a mix of technologies, we apply our custom-built matching system and 1:1 interviews conducted with all of our professional candidates and care homes. We then narrow down a large pool of caregivers and facilities to a very specific few.

Caregivers You Can Trust
Feel better in the comfort of your own home. Whether you need hourly, daily or weekly assistance due to aging, illness, recovery, or rehabilitation, our Village Registered Caregivers provide an individualized service you can trust.
All our caregivers have at least two years of in-home care-specific experience and are thoroughly background and reference checked. Once we complete our 1:1 interview with each caregiver, we add their specific skill sets to our unique matching system where they are ready to be perfectly paired.

Our founder, who has over 20 years of experience in the healthcare industry, recognized the need for personalized, compassionate care that is tailored to the unique needs of each individual.

As a legally operating California Domestic Referral Agency (also commonly referred to as a “registry”), we have an extensive pool of professional caregivers that we match with our clients' unique needs and preferences ensuring they receive a fully screened compatible caregiver with the necessary skills and experience. California has specific Civil and UI codes that govern referral agencies, It Takes a Village complies with these codes. It takes a Village Senior Care, Inc. is not the employer of the domestic worker it referred to you. The domestic worker may be your employee or an independent contractor depending on the relationship you have with him or her. If you direct and control the manner and means by which the domestic worker performs his or her work you may have employer responsibilities, including employment taxes and workers’ compensation, under state and federal law. For additional information contact your local Employment Development Department and the Internal Revenue Service.
